Pre Construction, Site Development & Demolition
At AmeriStar Group we realize time is money, we can handle all of your construction project management needs from overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion aimed at meeting a client’s requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project. The major advantage involves the schedule. Many projects are given out with an extremely tight time frame. By letting out the contract as a design build contract, the contractor is established, and early mobilization and construction activities are able to proceed concurrently with the design. Under a traditional contract, construction cannot begin until after the design is finished, the project is bid and awarded, and the team can mobilize. This type of contract can take months off the finish date of a project.
Plan Review & Cost Estimating
We work with developers from the planning stage to completion. The early feasibility, studies, and design development is supported by construction cost estimators, who prepare cost estimates for use in the decision making process. This process starts with planning, and is supported by conceptual or order of magnitude estimates. Design then starts with a schematic design, followed by a design development, and culminates in a construction document.
Building Demolition
Demolition is not just the knocking down of a building, before any demolition activities, there are many steps that need to take place; including but not limited to performing asbestos abatement, removing hazardous or regulated materials, obtaining necessary permits, submitting necessary notifications, disconnecting utilities, rodent baiting, and development of site specific safety and work plans, we can manage all of your demolition needs.
Site Development
AmeriStar Group not only holds GC licenses, but Underground & Excavation licenses to provide complete management of all phases of construction. Site development is a vital key process in completing any project on time, usually it can begin while the design of vertical construction is still underway. When involved in all phases of the process we can keep overall costs down by having complete control over scheduling of the entire development.
Interior Demolition
Unlike typical building demolition, interior demo is a much more delicate process. It involves the dismantling and removal of interior spaces and often while business is ongoing. We can handle your interior redesign while keeping your operating work space clean and unobstructed and customer friendly. We can work around you business hours and if necessary complete all work during off hours to minimize the impact on you or your neighbors businesses.
